At the event, the Son La provincial Border Guard Command handed over certificates of merit to one collective and two individuals for their contribution to border protection work. Meanwhile, the Muong Leo commune People’s Committee also recognized four collectives and five individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No.01/CT-TTg on public participation in national border protection.
Besides, they also provided free check-ups and medicines to local people, and held traditional folk games, contributing to strengthening the military-civilian ties.

* On February 27-28, the Border Post of Ca Na Port under the Ninh Thuan provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with Phuoc Diem and Ca Na communes, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province, organized the Whole-People’s Border Guard Festive Day in 2025.
The event featured reports on the festival’s outcomes in 2024 and a 10-year review of the implementation of Directive 01/CT-TTg on public participation in border sovereignty and security protection.
According to Secretary of the Ca Na commune’s Party Committee Phan Thanh Son, the Whole-People’s Border Guard Festive Day is an occasion to raise public awareness and responsibility in collaborating with the border guards to safeguard national sovereignty and contribute to the development of coastal border areas.

* From February 25 to 28, the Hai Phong city’s Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city and local authorities, organized the Whole-People’s Border Guard Festive Day. The event also reviewed 10 years of implementing Directive No. 01/CT-TTg on public participation in border sovereignty and security protection.
Authorities and organizations in Hai Phong’s coastal border areas have worked closely with the border guard force to ensure political security and social order. Several initiatives, such as “Paving the way to school for children - Adopted children of border posts” program, among others, have been effectively maintained and expanded.

The border guard force has effectively conducted dissemination work to mobilize local people to take part in border sovereignty and security protection with good outcomes.
At the event, the Hai Phong city’s Border Guard Command, in coordination with local authorities, handed over houses, and presented 162 gifts to disadvantaged households and students, worth nearly VND 800 million. Meanwhile, several outstanding collectives and individuals in border protection efforts were also honored and awarded.
