Border guards join hands in border protection
PANO - The Border Guard Commands of Dak Nong, Dak Lak and Binh Phuoc provinces held a meeting on February 21 to promote their coordination in border protection in 2025.

Last year, the border guard forces from the three provinces closely coordinated, actively exchanged information, and firmly safeguarded national border sovereignty, and maintained political security and social order and safety in border areas and adjacent areas.
They conducted joint patrols, effectively fought against and prevented activities related to illegal immigration, trafficking, deforestation, violations of border regulations, illegal transport of forest products, and criminal activities. They jointly dealt with contingencies as regulated.
At the event, the joint forces defined that this year they will continue to consult with and take advantage of local authorities’ attention to managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and border security and border areas that bordering two provinces, two districts, or two communes.
They will also direct their affiliates to continue sharing information to effectively prevent illegal immigration and crime prevention in border areas. Moreover, affiliated border posts will deploy forces operating at adjacent areas, closely cooperate to manage and protect the border areas and address situations to be emerged.
