The event took place at the Military Technical Academy (MTA), drawing the participation from over 600 cadets there.

Conducted in an online multiple-choice format, the event was live-streamed on two Facebook fanpages of the HCYU Central Committee.

The first livestream featured 10 questions on a single topic. Each question was presented with four answer choices. After the host announced “time starts,” participants had 15 seconds to comment the correct answer on the livestreaming pages.

After the first round, the contest will take place every Friday from 8:30p.m. to 9:30p.m. on the following dates: September 27; October 4, 11, 18, 25; and November 1, 8, 15, and 22. There are 10 rounds in total, each of which features a different theme related to the traditions of the VPA and the GDP. The contest aims to raise awareness of and foster pride in the VPA’s heroic history.

The contest serves as a key activity of the HCYU to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the VPA and the GDP, and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People’s Defense Festive Day.
