The unit also presented gifts to relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers in the academy and policy beneficiaries in the area, where the academy is stationed, provided free health check-ups and medicines to 124 needy people, and joined a candle-lit program at three martyrs’ cemeteries.

*The Military Region (MR) 1 Command, in association with the Bac Giang provincial People's Committee, on July 18 handed over a gratitude house to the family of Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, a needy war veteran in Thieu village, Dong Lac commune, Yen The district, Bac Giang province.
This is the first house among the nine gratitude houses which will be presented by the MR 1 Command to policy beneficiaries in 2018.
* Also on July 18 and 19, a medical team of the Yen Bai provincial Military Command provided free health check-ups and medicines, worth VND 50 billion, to 270 policy beneficiaries in Lao Chai commune, Mu Cang Chai district.
* Meanwhile, the Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology (under the Military Medical Department, the General Department of Logistics) also offered free health check-ups and medicines to more than 250 people and presented gifts to three families of national contributors in Mai Dong ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi.
* The Army Radio-Television Center cooperated with the Viettel Media and Traditional Association of the Truong Son-Ho Chi Minh Trail to present gratitude houses and gifts to policy beneficiaries and national contributors in Tan Phong commune, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province. Accordingly, two gratitude houses and gifts were presented to relatives of martyrs, Vietnamese heroic mothers, as well as war invalids and wounded soldiers. The same day, the delegation also presented 10 wheelchairs and gifts to needy people in Yen Bac commune, Duy Tien district, Ha Nam province.
* On the occasion, Air-Defense Brigade 210 under Military Region 1, in association with the People's Committee of Cam Gia ward (Thai Nguyen province), handed over a gratitude house, worth VND 320 million, to the family of Nguyen Thi Dang .
