Accordingly, on July 24, military youths and participating units offered incense at the War Cemetery of Phong My commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province.

Meanwhile, the delegation presented 163 gifts to policy beneficiaries, national contributors and needy students in Phong Dien district.

Also, Military Medical Hospital 268 of MR4 provided free medical examinations, health counseling, and medicines for 300 policy beneficiaries.

The same day, the delegation inquired after and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan in Huong Ho ward, Huong Tra town. She is the mother of martyr Tran Minh Hai, Deputy Commander of the Thua Thien Hue provincial Military Command, who died at Rao Trang 3 Hydropower plant.

Colonel Tran Viet Nang, Head of the Military Youth Advisory Board, shared that ahead of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day, the unit has conducted a wide range of gratitude activities across the country, including presenting gifts and savings books, repairing and building gratitude houses, providing free health check-ups, consultancy, and medicines for policy beneficiaries and local people.
