On May 19, in Khanh Thanh commune, Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province, a program was held to present gifts and hand over a yard’s roof to Hoa Hong Kindergarten. The event was attended by representatives of the Mass Mobilization Board of the Khanh Hoa provincial Party Committee, some military units stationed in the areas, Khanh Hoa provincial Youth Union Organiztion, Young Entrepreneurs Association, and Tan Lap 1 Primary School.

Hoa Hong Kindergarten was established in 2007 with six classes and 165 students. The classrooms are good enough for teaching and learning. However, the kindergarten did not have good facilities for children’s outside activities. Therefore, the roof and other gifts were of important significance for both teachers and students of the school.

On the occasion, the military units handed the roof worth VND 70 million to the school, while the Khanh Hoa provincial Youth Union Organization and Young Entrepreneurs Association presented VND 30 million to help the school build a concrete yard and artificial turf; Tan Lap 1 Primary School handed over 48 gifts to students who are going to enter the first grade, and 170 gifts, totally worth VND 50 million. The total cost of the program was VND 150 million.

* On the same day, Thanh Mien district’s Military Command in Hai Duong province launched the construction of a comradeship house for its Non-commissioned Captain Vu Duc Vinh in Phu Tai 1 village, Thanh Giang commune, Thanh Mien district, Hai Duong province.

Reportedly, over the past year, comrade Vinh has accomplished his assigned tasks. However, his family is still facing difficult housing conditions. Therefore, Thanh Mien district’s Military Command gave his family VND 80 million, extracted from the “For the poor” Fund of Military Region 3.

At the event, Non-commissioned Captain Vu Duc Vinh was touched as he received the support from his leaders and comrades.

* Khoai Chau district’s Military Command in Hung Yen province, in coordination with the local authorities, inaugurated the road along Kiem alley, Le Loi village, Nhue Duong commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province, which was built by the unit.

In response to the “Troops building new-style rural areas” movement, the unit worked with the local authorities to donate VND 40 million to build the road.

Started from May 4, the construction was completed as scheduled with a length of 120m, a width of 3.3m, a thickness of 20cm, with a total construction cost of VND 150 million.

Offering gifts to workers

On the occasion, Company 715 handed over 125 gifts to the new workers, while the Army Corps 15 Command presented 30 gifts to its workers suffering from serious diseases and needy workers, and 70 gifts to new workers of the company. The total cost of the program was VND 77 million.
