The financial support for the construction of the house handed over to the family of Maj. Phung

Attending the ceremony were Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Deputy Political Chief of the Vietnam Border Guard Command; Senior Colonel Doan Dinh Chanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command; and representatives of local authorities.

The house has been completed after nearly one month of construction. Designed as one-storey house with a total usable area of nearly 50 sq.m., the project cost a total of VND 180 million, of which the Department of Political Affairs mobilized VND 80 million in support from the "For Highland Area and Island Youth" Fund and the "For Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa" Club, while the remainder was contributed by the family and relatives.

On behalf of the command and the family, Sr. Col. Doan Dinh Chanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the provincial Border Guard Command, expressed gratitude to the fund and club, and the Department of Political Affairs. He affirmed that the house serves as a deeply meaningful gift and a great source of encouragement for the family of Maj. Phung, helping the family stabilize their life, maintain peace of mind at work, continue to be devoted to assigned duties, and join the unit in firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and border security.

At the house handover ceremony, the units presented many meaningful gifts to her family.
