HCM City increases patrols along all roads to curb COVID-19

In particular, people are required to stay at home and not go outside for non-essential reasons while shops and other commercial businesses are not allowed to open from 6 pm to 6 am every day.

Amid the complicated developments of COVID-19 in the city, troops from Military Police Battalion 31 closely worked with relevant forces to increase patrols at 12 medical checkpoints at the city’s gateways.

Also, they associated with the city’s police units to increase inspections and supervision along roads in all districts and Thu Duc city to strictly implement social distancing rules and raise the effectiveness of COVID-19 prevention and control.

Moreover, the battalion sent reinforcements to support on-duty forces at medical checkpoints in Go Vap district and Thu Duc city.

As scheduled, troops from the military police battalion will conduct patrol and supervision sessions until August 1.
