In a warm and intimate atmosphere, Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong inquired after the former leaders’ well-being and daily lives, and briefed the military’s recent outstanding results, particularly tasks and activities in celebration of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
The relatives of former Party, State, and military leaders expressed their profound gratitude for the care from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong personally, and the delegation. They also conveyed their delight and satisfaction with the achievements of military’s units and agencies in recent years. They truly believed that under the leadership of the Party, directly from the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense, the entire military will continue to strive, be united, and overcome challenges and obstacles, fulfilling all assigned tasks under any circumstances.
