After warmly inquiring after the senior officers, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vo Minh Luong expressed deep appreciation for the contribution and dedication of the former leaders of the Ministry of National Defense to the national liberation, construction cause and military building. He took the occasion to brief the former defense leaders on the military’s outstanding achievements in 2024 and the early months of 2025, highlighting major military activities held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day.

In recent times, the CMC and the MND have led and directed the whole military to fully and comprehensively accomplish missions; consistently forecast and accurately assess situations, and promptly advise the Party and State to flexibly and effectively handle military and defense matters, contributing to firmly protecting the Fatherland.
Under the leadership and direction of the CMC and MND, the whole military has synchronously applied solutions to building an elite, compact, strong military, capable of successfully completing any mission in the new context. Agencies and units have strictly maintained combat readiness, actively participated in natural disaster prevention and response, and search and rescue efforts, earning high appreciation from the Party and the State.
