Border troops help people harvest rice
PANO - The Youth Union Organizations of the Border Post of A Dot border gate and Lam Dot commune (A Luoi district) helped local people harvest rice on April 28.
Lam Dot commune has the largest rice-growing area in A Luoi district, with over 240 hectares out of a total of 1,000 hectares of the entire district. The rice fields of the local people are primarily situated in hilly and sloped areas, making the harvesting process quite difficult, especially due to a lack of tools, human resource, and supporting machinery.

According to Major Vo Xuan Minh, Secretary of the Youth Union Organization of the Border Post of A Dot Border Gate, every week on Saturday and Sunday, troops come to villages to help local people clean the environment, repair civil projects, and harvest rice to ensure production and minimize the losses caused by natural disasters.
