Lam Dot commune has the largest rice-growing area in A Luoi district, with over 240 hectares out of a total of 1,000 hectares of the entire district. The rice fields of the local people are primarily situated in hilly and sloped areas, making the harvesting process quite difficult, especially due to a lack of tools, human resource, and supporting machinery.
