In Ho Chi Minh City, the steering committee for coordination between the armed forces and socio-political organizations conducted social welfare programs in Cu Chi District. These included offering incense and flowers at the Ben Duoc Martyrs’ Memorial Temple, as well as visiting and presenting gifts to 23 Vietnamese heroic mothers, 42 families of war invalids, martyrs, and revolutionary contributors, along with disadvantaged workers and youth union members.

Handing over gifts to policy beneficiaries in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City

In Quang Binh Province, the authority hosted a gathering of generals from the Vietnam People’s Army and the People’s Public Security who originate from Quang Binh. This event served to honor the heroic traditions and resounding history of the VPA and to express gratitude for the significant contribution made by the VPA’s troops in general and its generals in Quang Binh province in particular.

Meanwhile, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Military Command, in collaboration with the Ba Ria Hospital and the Vung Tau Hospital, provided free health checkups and medicines for policy beneficiaries, revolution contributors, and ethnic minority and religious groups facing difficulties in Binh Trung Commune, Chau Duc District. More than 300 residents received health check-ups and consultations, while 100 gifts were presented to policy families and low-income households. The total cost of the program was VND 115 million, with the Provincial Military Command contributing VND 100 million.

At Military Hospital 354 in Hanoi, a “Military-civilian cultural day” program was held, featuring sports competitions such as badminton, pickleball, and tug-of-war, along with food stalls and cultural performances under the theme “Forever singing marching songs.” The event also included a campfire session. On this occasion, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the hospital presented 80 gifts, including 20 for veterans in Vinh Phuc Ward (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi), 20 for soldiers and employees working at the hospital, and 40 for patients currently undergoing treatment there.
