Looking back upon the 2020-2025 period, the achievements of such a movement have been profound and far-reaching. The movement has permeated every agency and unit, every officer and soldier. It has been present on training grounds, in border areas, on islands, and in areas struck by storms and diseases. Everywhere, there shine examples of dedication, bravery, and creativity. Everywhere, the spirit of overcoming difficulties and the determination to excellently accomplish tasks resound.

This movement has contributed to improving training quality, enhancing combat readiness capability, consolidating the synergy of the whole military and at the same time affirming the mettle, willpower, and noble qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new era.

This Congress was not only to commend achievements but, more importantly, to ignite and rekindle new aspirations, the aspiration to dedicate and the aspiration to win. Multiplying role models means spreading beautiful blossoms to form a radiant garden, so that each officer and soldier is filled with ideals, goals, and motivation to move forward. A shining example can ignite the spirit of a collective and an exemplary collective can generate an emulation atmosphere, urging the whole military to rise strongly together.

The coming period poses higher requirements and greater responsibilities for emulation work. Each Party committee, commander, and emulation-reward council or team in the military must firmly grasp the viewpoint that “Emulation is patriotic, those that are patriotic must emulate.” Leadership and direction must be strict, with a clear focus on priorities, pinpointing weaknesses to make breakthroughs. At the same time, new models, effective practices, and good people and good deeds must be discovered, nurtured, and expanded. Above all, each officer and soldier must consider emulation not only a duty but an honor, an aspiration, and a source of pride in contributing to the national building and protection cause.

Multiplying role models is not merely a slogan, but an order derived from reality, a burning aspiration of the whole military. When the flame of emulation is kindled, it will spark new spirit, new strength, and new determination, urging officers and soldiers to surpass themselves and turn each working day, each training session, each assignment, and each deed for the people into determined-to-win actions. These would help build a revolutionary, standardized, elite, and modernized military and shine the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
