More military units conduct gratitude movement
PANO - Division 968 under Military Region 4, the Song Trang provincial Military Command and Air Defense Brigade 214 of Military Region 3 have started a gratitude movement in their units in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers (July 27).

To make the movement a success, troops of Division 968 heighten their responsibility , are active and determined to accomplish all assigned missions, including well implementing policies for revolutionary contributors, building gratitude houses for policy beneficiaries in the stationed area and in the unit, raising funds for the programs “Warm clothing for heavily wounded and sick soldiers”, “Silk clothing for Vietnamese heroic mothers” and for the “Gratitude Fund” while strictly observing combat readiness , being active during training courses with flying colors.
Meanwhile, the Soc Trang provincial Military Command has planned to effectively carry out the program “The province’s armed forces join hands in building new-style rural areas” in remote, mountainous areas and former revolutionary bases. Other activities set by the command during the movement include active care for revolutionary contributors, wounded soldiers, martyrs’ families, Vietnamese heroic mothers; improvement of quality of studying, forecasting, and giving timely, accurate and effective suggestions to the higher level commands and local authorities in order to surmount difficulties to fulfill all assigned tasks.
Based on the movement’s contents, Air Defense Brigade 214 tries its best to make breakthroughs in training quality, be proactively engaged in preventing and overcoming consequences of natural disasters, in search and rescue missions as well as promote regularity building and discipline observation. The unit also ensures absolute safety for its barracks and personnel, betters the care for wounded soldiers, martyrs’ families, and troops’ families.
At the launch of the movement, Air Defense Brigade 214 awarded five groups and 30 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement “Good training, serious practice, high combat readiness”.
