Military units work out 2018 missions
PANO - Several military units on January 1 reviewed their task performances for last year and rolled out their tasks for this year.

At the conference hosted by the Air Force Officer Training School

* The National Defense Academy
adjusted their training programs in a practical manner with more exercises and
self-research, built a comprehensively strong unit and paid due attention to
political and ideological education as well as actively disseminated
information to orient ways of thinking among troops and people.
This year, it will continue to do
research, renovate training programs, and continue to apply achievements of
Industry 4.0 in researching and training to meet all task requirements in the
current period.
* The Criminal Investigation
Department under the Ministry of National Defense completed its staff role,
fulfilled all assigned missions and handled nearly 460 criminal cases
and other related cases.
It will focus on building a regular
and comprehensively strong unit, improving its staff’s professionalism,
directing an active and thorough grasp of violation cases in the military,
promoting their advisory capacity and quality of verification and investigation
and more.
* Developing a strong military
communication system, closely cooperating with related military and civilian
agencies and units and ensuring smooth communications for combat readiness,
training missions and important events last year, the Signal Corps will
concentrate on maintaining smooth communication for different missions, especially in
defending national sovereignty over the seas, islands and borders.
* The Air Force Officer Training
School under the Air Defense - Air Force Service
will continue to renew training contents, organize flight training
scientifically with safety as a core, focus on specialized training in
line with real situations and subjects and improve cadres’ competency.
