On January 4, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 3 detailed their missions in 2018 under the chair of its Commander, Lieutenant General Vu Hai San.

Accordingly, the military region will substantially improve training and combat readiness at all levels, cooperate with relevant forces to maintain social order and security, and grasp local situations, especially in border areas and on islands, in order to promptly deal with any problems arising.

Besides, its affiliated units determine to well maintain the nutrition demands for regular task implementation as well as for search and rescue if required.

* This year, the military cipher sector plans to successfully conduct and fulfill all assigned tasks, particularly in strengthening its staff, ensuring secret and accurate information of the military in any circumstances.

* In 2017, the General Department of Logistics strictly and effectively carried out the campaign “Military logistics sector follows Uncle Ho’s teachings.” Namely, the general department directed units in the whole military to boost production promotion, contributing to accomplishing the unit’s political tasks.

* Meanwhile, the General Department of Technical Services successfully instructed technical units to raise the quality of protecting, conserving and maintaining weapons and technical equipment of units in the whole military, while thoroughly ensuring safety at work.
