Lao defense leader visits and works with MR4

Deputy Political Commissar of MR4 Major General Doan Xuan Buong received the Lao delegation.

Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Thongloi Silivong informed the Vietnamese side about the socio-economic and defense and security situations of Laos over the past time. He also expressed his impressions on the achievements of the MR4 armed forces and localities in the region, while sending his thanks to the MR4 Command for the warm reception.

An overview of the reception

He hoped that in the time to come, both sides would continue to effectively implement cooperation activities and exchange experience in the fields of military and defense, contributing to deepening the special relations, friendship and solidarity between the two parties, states, militaries, and peoples.

On behalf of MR4, General Buong believed that in the coming time, the Lao deputy defense minister would better implement traditional education so that all troops, especially young ones, are well aware of and try their best to deepen and heighten the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, states and militaries in the current context.

Especially, the Lao side would continue to create favorable conditions for the martyrs’ remains’ search and collection team of the military region to soon accomplish its assigned missions, so as to repatriate martyrs’ remains.
