Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong checks training activities at National Shooting Range Region 5
PANO - Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister of National Defense General Nguyen Tan Cuong inspected and directed the training activities of the Naval, Air Defense - Air Force Services, and other agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense on November 5 at the National Shooting Range Region 5.
With high responsibility from the party committees, chains-of-command, officers, and soldiers of the participating units, the training mission at the National Shooting Range Region 5 was successfully completed. The Navy and the Air Defense - Air Force mobilized a large number of troops, using various modern weapons, equipment, and vehicles, conducting training as planned and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

Alongside the Navy and Air Defense - Air Force, forces from Military Region 5, the Border Guard Command, and the Coast Guard Command also participated in the training at the National Shooting Range Region 5. During the training, units’ commanding officers fully grasped the mission, coordinated closely, and demonstrated the art of combined operations among arms and services.

Speaking at the event, Gen. Cuong emphasized that the success of this training session demonstrated the sense of responsibility, active and pro-active spirit of the commanding officers, officers, and soldiers of the participating units. He said that troops overcame weather challenges, trained intensively, and comprehensively completed all set contents in all categories, affirming the training quality.
