Defense leader checks Saigon Newport Corporation

At the working session, representatives of the corporation briefed the delegation on its task performance since last year. Accordingly, they have successfully completed both military-defense and business missions, while actively joining international integration and defense diplomacy work.

Reportedly, the Saigon Newport Corporation has cooperation relations with thousands of importers and enters into contracts with 150 shipping lines and agents in the world.

In addition, the quantity of import-export containers served by the company accounts for nearly 57 percent of the national market share as well as 90 percent of the Southern region’s one.

Addressing the event, General Tan spoke highly of the achievements that the corporation has gained over the past time.

He hoped that the company would tap its potential and strength, and lead other businesses in maritime economy, in order to further heighten the national brand value in the globe.
