At the event, the organizing panel announced and handed over key decisions, including the Minister of National Defense’s decision on establishing the Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 8; the MMU Director’s decision on the hospital’s personnel organization; and the university Party Committee’s decision on establishing the hospital’s grassroots-level Party organization.

Major General, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Vu Nhat Dinh, MMU Deputy Director, stated that the Vietnam People’s Army’s Level-2 Field Hospitals have excellently fulfilled their missions at the U.N. Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), earning high international appreciation. To date, Vietnam is preparing to deploy its 8th rotation, which is the 4th rotation trained under the university’s management.

Highlighting the challenges in the initial training phase, Major General Vu Nhat Dinh requested the hospital’s officers and staff to deeply grasp the Party and State’s foreign policies and fully understand the mission’s significance. He directed the force to maintain firm political stance; strictly observe military discipline, U.N. regulations, and the host country’s laws; and preserve the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers with a professional manner. Concurrently, the entire unit must enhance the quality of their professional and foreign language training, build a united collective, and ensure absolute safety during their task performance.

Regarding the university’s affiliated agencies and units, Major General Vu Nhat Dinh urged pro-active coordination to ensure all-around support for the hospital. He expressed his confidence that with thorough preparation and high determination, the Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 8 would follow the success of its predecessors, excellently accomplish assigned tasks, and contribute to elevating the status of the Vietnam People’s Army in the international arena.
