The exchange program is scheduled to take place from September 20 to 24 in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China. Planned activities include talks between the two sides, exchanges on Party and political work, cultural tours, art performances, and visits to China Coast Guard’s units.

Delivering directive remarks, Major General Luong Dinh Hung requested delegation members to prepare thoroughly for all program contents. He highlighted that the event serves as both an exchange activity and a key defense diplomacy task. He urged every member to uphold responsibility and demonstrate the image of regular, steadfast, professional, and disciplined Viet Nam Coast Guard officers in international relations.

The general requested that during the mission, delegation members uphold friendship, strictly observe discipline, military etiquette, and host-nation laws, while prioritizing confidentiality and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

The training, experience-sharing, and exchange program on Party and political work between two sides is an initiative of the Viet Nam Coast Guard. Previously, in August 2024, the two forces successfully organized their first exchange program on Party and political work in Viet Nam.

Through study, exchange, and experience-sharing activities, the program helps enhance mutual understanding, consolidate trust, and foster friendship between officers and soldiers of both forces.
