First steps of the hospital staff in Bentiu where they are stationed |
Immediately upon arrival in Bentiu, the Board of Directors of the L2FH Rotation 7 directed the rapid implementation of all tasks, especially the handover procedures from L2FH Rotation 6. Members quickly settled into their accommodations and promptly began their professional work.
On September 26 morning (local time), a handover ceremony between the two field hospitals took place. The two contingents agreed on the plan and methods of handover. The process was carried out through both document transfer and on-site practical guidance, ensuring continuity of medical examination and treatment activities without interruption during the transition.
That same morning, L2FH Rotation 7 received and examined its first patient, Hasan Ashfaque Ragih, an officer from India.
In addition to taking over facilities, equipment, and professional duties, the L2FH Rotation 7 also assumed responsibility for the vegetable garden area, continuing the model of on-site production to ensure a supply of fresh greens for the unit.
