PANO - The grand ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day on September 2 at historic Ba Dinh Square has become a sacred milestone as hearts of millions of Vietnamese people beat as one.

Vietnamese people flocked to Ba Dinh Square to share in the proud, emotional rhythm of the ceremony, a demonstration affirming the strength, will, and love for the Fatherland.

The red flags with yellow stars blanketing the sky, blending with the radiant gazes of the Vietnamese people toward formations of the grand parade and mass procession, created a vivid image of patriotism and the power of national unity bloc and the close bonds between the military and the people.
