During the more than 5,000 nautical mile voyage, enduring long hours in rough seas and strong winds, the delegation and 015-Tran Hung Dao overcame all challenges to excellently fulfill the mission.

In each port of call, the Vietnamese delegation received warm, attentive, and respectful hospitality from local authorities and the host navies. Activities included ship tours, sports exchanges, reception aboard the 015-Tran Hung Dao, and joint maritime exercise, leaving strong impressions and a positive image of Vietnam’s country, its people, military, and navy.

The successful voyage helped deepen friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the visited countries, as well as maintain peace, stability, security, and prosperity in the region and worldwide.

Sr. Capt. Nguyen Vinh Nam said the trip once again affirmed the capability, professionalism, and determination of the Vietnam People’s Navy in general and the crew of the 015-Tran Hung Dao in particular. It also provided opportunities for young officers and the ship’s crew to enhance professional expertise, soft skills, and gain valuable experience. This helped build a generation of young officers strong in will and solid in expertise, further affirming the capability and standing of the Vietnam People’s Navy.

He expressed his belief that the crew and young officers of the Vietnam People’s Navy will continue to grow and improve, overcoming all challenges in future international integration and defense diplomacy activities.
