Joint patrol organized to protect Vietnam - China border
PANO - On December 24, Sen Thuong Border Post of the Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Jinping Border Area Meeting Station of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army to organize a joint patrol for the last six months of 2025.
Both sides patrolled and inspected the border area from Border Markers No.11 to No.12. Through field inspection, the border and national markers remained intact; no signs of violations of border regulations, encroachment for cultivation or settlement, or criminal activities were detected.

During the patrol, the two sides exchanged information and agreed on coordination directions for the coming time. The focus will be on strictly implementing the “Three legal documents on the land border between Vietnam and China,” maintaining information exchange channels and hotlines, and promoting law dissemination to raise awareness among their border residents.
Concluding the patrol, the two units signed the minutes of the patrol. The mission was conducted according to the plan, meeting the set requirements and ensuring absolute safety for personnel, weapons, and equipment.
