The exercise featured simulated scenarios closely reflecting the actual duties of the field hospital in South Sudan. These included operating a level-2 field hospital, ensuring all aspects of command, medical expertise, logistics, technical services, and handling medical emergencies.

Participating in training, supervision, and instruction were instructors and coordinators from the Military Medical University, the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, and Military Hospital 175.

The exercise provided the field hospital’s personnel with essential knowledge about U.N. peacekeeping operations and the necessary skills to perform their professional duties at UNMISS.
