According to First Lieutenant, Doctor Vu Xuan Huynh from the Endocrinology Department of the hospital, the Lao cadet was admitted in early November this year in a weakened health condition, with vestibular dysfunction, slow motor responses and limited communication ability.
He suffers from multiple underlying medical conditions, including acute pneumonia, autonomic nervous system disorder, autoimmune encephalitis, sepsis accompanied by pneumonia, and urinary tract infection, requiring intensive and long-term treatment.
Thanks to thorough consultations and an active, comprehensive treatment regimen, and the medical staff’s dedicated monitoring and care, the patient's condition has been gradually stabilized and he is recovering.
