Outstanding collectives and individuals honored at the event |
From 2021 to the present, the province has collected DNA samples from 195 mothers of martyrs and from more than 7,000 martyrs and their relatives to assist in the identification process. Notably, the province’s Steering Committee 515 has received and held memorial and burial services for three soldiers who laid down their lives in Laos while conducting international duties, in accordance with regulations.
At the event, delegates proposed five solutions to continue implementing directives from the Politburo, decisions of the Prime Minister, and guiding documents from higher authorities on the search, repatriation, and identification of martyrs’ remains.
The committee is committed to accelerating DNA analysis, completing the search map, and making the best use of data management software related to martyrs’ burial sites, thereby effectively contributing to the ongoing search and identification efforts.
At the event, two collectives and five individuals were honored by the Provincial People’s Committee for their outstanding achievements.
