In Da Nang, since August 7, despite unfavorable weather conditions, forces from Coast Guard Region 2 have demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and coordinated with relevant units and local authorities to collect samples at five martyrs’ cemeteries in two communes, obtaining 1,406 biological samples.

In Quang Ngai, the unit has carried out the task at nine martyrs’ cemeteries in five communes, collecting 279 biological samples for examination and the identification of martyrs’ remains.

During the visit, Maj. Gen. Tran Quang Tuan and Sr. Col. Le Huy praised the sense of responsibility and the results achieved by the officers and soldiers participating in the “500-day campaign” over the past period. They asked the forces to proactively overcome difficulties, continue coordinating with other forces to accelerate the excavation and sampling process, strive to complete their assigned tasks, and ensure absolute safety.
