Tuyen Quang border guards exchange Tet greetings with Chinese counterpart
PANO - Ahead of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, units of the Tuyen Quang provincial Border Guard Command (Vietnam) organized a meeting to extend lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to border management and protection force of China.

Accordingly, on February 3, at the area of Border Marker No.409, a delegation from Lung Cu and Dong Van Border Posts, led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Hung, Political Commissar of Lung Cu Border Post, met with the delegation of Malin Sub-station under Tianbao Exit-Entry Border Inspection Station (Yunnan, China), led by Station Chief Zhangyu.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged information on results of border management and protection coordination in 2025. They also exchanged letters, presented gifts, and extended best wishes for the up-coming Tet holiday, expressing hope for increasingly close and effective solidarity and cooperation.
This is an annual border diplomacy activity maintained by the border management forces of both sides, contributing to strengthening solidarity, enhancing coordination efficiency, and building a border of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.
