Delegates launching Vessel No.5. |
The event marked an important milestone, reaffirming Ba Son Corporation's capability and reputation in building international-standard ships.
Attending the ceremony were Commercial Director of Damen Cargo Vessels Remko Bouma; Managing Director of Reederei Gerdes Company Nicole Gerdes; along with representatives from participating agencies, units, partners, and project contractors.
Representing Ba Son Corporation were Deputy General Director Senior Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh; Deputy General Director and head of the project management board Colonel Tran Ngoc Phung; as well as leaders of affiliated agencies and units and personnel involved in the project.
After nearly three years of implementing the Combi Freighter 3850 project, Ba Son Corporation has completed and delivered three vessels, namely Amadeus Pearl, Amadeus Ruby, and Holger G, to their owner.
The corporation is currently building five vessels simultaneously under the project. Among them, Vessel No.5, bearing hull number YN 559043, has completed all construction work and met all requirements for launching as scheduled.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Ngoc Phung emphasized that the construction of Combi Freighter Vessel No.5 marks the project's acceleration toward completion. He affirmed that Ba Son Corporation will continue to concentrate its resources and work closely with Damen Group, partners, and contractors to complete and deliver Vessel No.5, as well as the remaining vessels, on schedule while meeting technical requirements, international quality standards, and the expectations of the shipowners.
