Joint patrol conducted to protect shared Vietnam - China border
PANO - On December 25 afternoon, Xin Cai Border Post under the Border Guard Command of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command, in coordination with Tianpeng Border Police Station and Tianpeng Sub-Station of Tianbao Immigration Border Station of China, conducted a joint patrol and an inspection session on law enforcement in border areas.
During the patrol, the joint force closely inspected the border areas from markers 449 to 451. They promptly detected and prevented violations. Via information exchange, they handled cases related to cross-border crime, seized goods, and vehicles. Both sides also carried out legal dissemination in both Vietnamese and Chinese for residents in the border areas in accordance with agreed contents.
While patrolling, the two sides implemented greeting protocols, exchanged situation in line with regulations, and reviewed the results of coordination.
Concluding the patrol at Border Marker 451, they exchanged information and agreed on the report of the patrol results .
Such a bilateral patrol helped strengthen solidarity, friendship between the two countries’ border management forces, contributing to firmly managing and safeguarding territorial sovereignty, national border security in the assigned border sections. It also contributed to enhance the effectiveness of coordination in patrols, crime prevention and control, and legal dissemination for people on both sides of the shared Vietnam - China border.
