Reportedly, over the past time, the unit has closely worked with local authorities to manage and control travel in the area, spray disinfectants, clean up the environment and strictly take measures to prevent and control the disease.

In addition, the border guards, together with other sponsors, offered 650 gifts, worth VND 350 million, to local residents in Thanh An commune.
* On May 25, the Naval Region 1 Command, in coordination with Kien Bai commune’s authorities in Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong province, held a program to hand over a gratitude house to Mrs. Bui Thi Ngo in Hamlet 3, Kien Bai commune.
Mrs. Bui Thi Ngo is the wife of martyr Pham Hai An who sacrificed himself in 1969 on the Southern battlefield during the war in Vietnam.
The 80sq.m house was built at a cost of nearly VND 500 million, including VND 80 million from the command’s Gratitude Fund.
During the event, the Naval Region 1 Command and local authorities also presented other gifts to the recipient’s family.
