On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs' Day (July 27,1947 - 2025), the Military Technical Academy in coordination with the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) (Dong Da branch, Hanoi) organized a “Return-to-the-root” journey to Ha Tinh and Quang Tri provinces. This activity aims to promote the national tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” and “Gratitude activities,” while fostering patriotism, revolutionary spirit and a sense of responsibility for the country among officers and students.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation offered incense and flowers at war cemeteries, historical sites, paid tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap, presented gifts to policies beneficiaries and disadvantaged students, and visited local military units.

Announcing at the ceremony in Cam Hieu commune, Cam Lo district (Quang Tri province), Major General Tran Van Duy emphasized that although the gifts were small, they reflected the deep gratitude and heart-felt sentiments of the academy’s personnel and BIDV staff toward war heroes, wounded and sick soldiers, national contributors and policy beneficiaries.
