Gen. Dung required the units to strictly implement the dispatch of the province’s Party and People’s Committees, and the MR3 Command on the storm prevention and control; regularly update the situation; strictly maintain duty and readiness shifts; and proactively prepare forces and equipment for immediate deployment upon orders.

On the same day, Major General To Thanh Quyet, Second-in-Command of MR3, inspected the preparation work for responding to Storm No.3 at Engineering Brigade 513 and Air Defense Brigade 214. Gen. Quyet asked the units to fully prepare personnel, vehicles, and equipment to brace themselves for the storm while closely coordinating with local authorities in the stationed areas and other forces to respond to and surmount the aftermath of the storm.

* The Army Corps 12 Command issued a dispatch to require agencies and units to strictly maintain on-duty troops and closely follow the storm’s situational developments. On July 21, the corps’ agencies and units completed the preparations for responding to the storm.
