GPD’s director pays homage to late general
PANO - General Luong Cuong, Director of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), offered incense to pay homage to late Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and paid tribute to late GDP’s directors at their families on July 15.
The event was part of activities of the GDP on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers' Day (July 27, 1947 - 2022).

At the house of late Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, General Cuong paid deep gratitude to the Party leader, who had devoted his whole-life to the cause of the Party, State and military. The GDP’s leader recalled the significant contribution of the late Party General Secretary. He also inquired after and extended best wishes to family members of the late Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

The same day, General Cuong visited and offered incense to commemorate former directors of the GDP at their houses, including General Van Tien Dung, General Nguyen Chi Thanh, General Chu Huy Man, and Senior Lieutenant General Song Hao.

The GDP’s Director paid deep tribute to the late generals and informed their families about the achievements of the whole-military over the past year. He also expressed his hope that the families of the late general will continue promoting their traditions, preserving keepsakes of their husbands and fathers to educate young generations.
