In particular, at around 10:00 a.m. on October 19, Sr. Cap. Hoang Van Binh was on patrol duty along Highway DT741 in Thai Dung hamlet, Tan Tien commune, Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province when he found a wallet on the roadside. The wallet included a citizen identification card, a car driver's license, two bank cards, VND 1 million in cash, and other important private papers. All the papers belong to Nguyen Xa Be from Vinh Phu commune, Giang Thanh district, Kien Giang province.

Sr. Cap. Binh then handed over the wallet to the police force of Tan Tien commune to find the owner and return the lost property to him. By the afternoon of the same day, the owner contacted Tan Tien commune police to receive the property and expressed his gratitude to Binh.

* On October 20, Tran Van Tam, aged 18 from Dam Mon village, Van Thanh commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province, came to Dam Mon Border Post under the Khanh Hoa provincial Border Guard Command to receive his lost wallet.

Earlier, on October 19, Private First class Huynh Ngoc Thao from Dam Mon Border Post found the wallet while patrolling along Highway 651 in Dam Mon village. The wallet included many important private papers, such as a citizen identification card, vehicle registration certificate, and money in cash.

Private Thao then reported to the unit’s commanding officer to find the owner. His good deed was praised and spread widely for other officers to follow.
