At Vi Xuyen National War Cemetery, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh and delegates offered incense, flowers in tribute to the great sacrifices of fallen soldiers who laid down their lives for national independence, freedom, and the people’s happiness.

The cemetery is the final place of rest of 1,969 martyrs and two collective graves. On Vi Xuyen front, millions of civilians, cadres, and soldiers directly participated in fierce and arduous combat, upholding the spirit of “not yielding an inch of land” and unwavering determination in defending the Fatherland. Following the tribute ceremony and a moment of silence, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh and delegates lit incense at the graves of martyrs across the cemetery.
