Accordingly, on May 5, 2020, the Defense Minister issued Circular No.56/2020/TT-BQP on information security management and cyber-security in the Ministry of National Defense. This is an important legal basis for Command 86 to make recommendations to Defense Minister to manage and ensure information security and cyber-security throughout the military.

Implementing Decision No.569/QD-BQP on February 7, 2024 of the Defense Minister on making legal documents in 2024 in the Ministry of National Defense, Command 86 worked with relevant units to draft a circular on information security and cyber-security in the Ministry of National Defense (replacing Circular No.56/2020/TT-BQP issued on May 5, 2020) according to State’s laws.

Addressing the conference, Gen. Vinh requested Command 86 to work with functional units to review laws, decrees, and circulars on managing and ensuring cyber-security, address any arising issues, and forecast problems related to this field in the current context, among others.
