Chua Soc Sau Bridge has a total construction cost of VND 315 million, including VND 290 million donated by benefactors. The remaining funding is contributed by local authorities and residents.

The new bridge will replace the deteriorated existing bridge and meet the travel and goods-transport needs of residents in An Phu hamlet and surrounding areas. Once completed, it will provide safer and more convenient travel for residents and students, improve rural connectivity, facilitate trade and agricultural transport, support local socio-economic development, and contribute to completing the area’s infrastructure.

The project also reflects the combined efforts of various groups. From funding from social sources and support from benefactors to contribution by local authorities and residents, the bridge concretely expresses the spirit of “the military and people sharing one will.”

Chua Soc Sau Bridge is one of the practical activities under the “Military-Civilian Tet” program in 2027 held to celebrate the Chol Chnam Thmay festival, the Khmer's traditional New Year, in Go Quao commune. The project contributes to improving the material and spiritual well-being of local people, particularly Khmer people, while strengthening national unity, military-civilian solidarity, and joint efforts to build increasingly modern and well-developed rural areas.
