On behalf of the Central Military Commission (CMc), the Ministry of National Defense (MND), and troops in the whole military, Gen. Cuong expressed his deep gratitude to the contribution and sacrifices of wounded and sick soldiers and martyrs’ relatives. He inquired after the wounded and sick soldiers and their families and hoped that they will stay healthy and overcome difficulties and physical pain to continue to spread the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, their spirit and energy, noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers to future generations.

On the occasion, Gen. Cuong visited, extended New Year greetings, presented gifts to Tien Ngoai commune; Party Committee and People’s Committee of Duy Tien town; the Ha Nam provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee and wished the Party Organization, authorities, and people of Ha Nam province comprehensive achievements in all fields and thanked the local party committees and authorities for paying attention to building stronger armed forces. He hoped the locality continues to help the military in well preparing for the handover of enlistees in 2024.

While visiting and checking the observance of combat readiness at the Military Command of Duy Tien town under the Ha Nam provincial Military Command and the province’s Public Security Department, Gen. Cuong praised the units for their obtained results. He urged the units to strictly observe combat readiness regulations, especially during the lunar New Year holidays, and strengthen coordination with other forces to deal with circumstances in a timely manner.
