Handing over free meals to patients

Nguyen Thi To, 68 years old, shared, “The treatment is very expensive, and as I am old and weak, I cannot earn any money. My children also work far away. Today, receiving these home-cooked meals from the officers means so much to us. It not only eases the treatment expenses, but also encourages us.”

Captain Vu Duy Hai, Deputy Head of Mass Mobilization Team and Deputy Secretary of the Phu Loc Border Post’s Youth Union held that this is an annual activity of the two units to bring a meaningful program to disadvantaged patients at the Da Nang Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital. It reflects the care and support from the youth of both units, and encourages patients to continue their treatment and recover more quickly.
