Gifts are presented to policy beneficiaries at Tan Thanh commune.

At the event, delegates presented gifts to representatives of the border post, the People's Committee of Tan Thanh commune, four schools, and 10 local policy families.

Over the years, Tan Thanh Border Post has consistently excelled in safeguarding national sovereignty, maintaining border security, and building a strong border area. Besides, the border post has successfully completed its political tasks of  strengthening the local political system and combating criminals within the border area.

In addition, the post has effectively carried out dissemination, thus encouraging locals to strictly observe the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and foster socio-economic development. Furthermore, the unit has actively cooperated with Cambodian neighbors to build a borderline of peace, solidarity, and friendship.

On the same day, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, and Tran Tue Hien, Chairwoman of the Binh Phuoc provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to two policy beneficiaries in Tan Thanh commune. These beneficiaries included Tran Thi Man (born in 1946), the widow of Tran Van Sau, who sacrificed his life in 1972 during the resistance war against the U.S. imperialists, and wounded soldier Nguyen Van Ya (born in 1955).
