On the occasion, the Border Station also extracted VND 6 million from its fund for the program "Help children go to school” to buy three bicycles and presented to three disadvantaged children in the area.

These meaningful activities of the Border Station’s troops in particular and the An Giang provincial Border Guard in general were part of the program "Help children go to school" and the movement "Whole nation join hands for the poor to ensure that no one will be left behind”, aiming at reducing adverse situations of disadvantaged students, encouraging and supporting them to study. At the same time, this helped to improve people’s livelihood, contributing to building a firm whole people's border guard posture and promoting peace, friendship, cooperation and development in the area.
