Officers and troops of the Muong Pon Border Post under the Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command have wrapped 140 Chung cakes to offer to 68 households in Tin Toc hamlet, Muong Pon commune, Dien Bien district.

The post has also presented 45 Tet gifts to needy households and policy beneficiary families. The post’s staff have also raised money for three students with adversity in life to enjoy a happy Tet.

The border guards’ care for the locals, especially during the Tet holiday, has helped tighten the military-civilian ties and brought a warm Tet to the recipients.

Here are some photos of the good ties between troops and people ahead of the Lunar New Year.
