* On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017, representatives of agencies in Hung Yen province visited and presented gifts,  totally worth  VND 40 billion, to local wounded soldiers, war veterans, national contributors and disadvantaged people. Accordingly, the province mobilized a large budget from donors to give many meaningful gifts to their policy beneficiaries and needy people.

* On January 20, the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province presented 200 gifts, worth VND 800,000 each, to family members of officers and soldiers under Naval Brigade 171, DK1 Battalion, Squadrons 128 and 129 under the Vietnam Coast Guard and staff of Fisheries Surveillance Team No.2.

* On January 21, the branch of the military-run telecom group Viettel in Gia Lai province (Viettel Gia Lai) sent delegations to visit, extend Tet greetings, and present 350 gifts, worth VND 235 million, to the Blind Association, the Center for Social Protection, the Psychiatric Hospital of Gia Lai province and poor people in the borders districts, such as Duc Co, la Grai and Chu Prong.

* Artillery Brigade 572 of Military Region 5, in association with the local authorities inaugurated, handed over gratitude houses to families of Captain Nguyen Van Thinh and Captain Pham Van Hai who are working at the unit in Phu My town, Binh Dinh province. Accordingly, the branch of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development in Binh Dinh supported VND 70 million for each house. In addition, troops from the brigade also contributed over 50 labor days for the construction.

* A delegation of the State Bank of Vietnam, in association with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), and the Cooperative Bank of Vietnam, organized a joint program to visit and present gifts to poor households and disadvantaged families in Bat Xat district (Lao Cai province). More than 1,084 gifts, worth VND 660 million, were delivered to local people in communes, such as Y Ty, A Mu Sung, Tong Sanh and so on. On this occasion, the delegation also donated over VND 1.4 billion to agencies, organizations, and local charitable funds.
