The event was attended by Youth Union members, students, and youngsters from various schools and localities.
During the event, recruits and Youth Union members participated in various activities, including an information dissemination contest on the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day, the military's traditions, and the traditions of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; a knowledge contest on several military affairs; a competition on disassembling and assembling AK rifles; a competition on infantry combat tactics; a competition on line-up regulation; folk games; a beautiful camping competition, and more.

According to Senior Colonel Tran Dong Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Binh Thuan provincial Military Command, the event was organized to assess the training quality of recruits after more than a month of training. It also provided an opportunity for troops, Youth Union members, and youngsters to share experience, enhance their knowledge and skills, and strengthen military-civilian solidarity.
The results of the competition showed that after more than a month of enlistment, the recruits have been in good health conditions, clearly understood their tasks, strictly observed military discipline, and acquired essential military knowledge.
