Invested by the General Staff, the VND 150-billion project covers 6.01 hectares in Hamlet 8, Ea Rok commune. It includes administration and classroom buildings, dining and kitchen facilities, boarding facilities for teachers and students, a multipurpose sports hall, a cultural house, a guardhouse, parking facilities, a water engineering station, warehouses, and supporting infrastructure for power, water supply, drainage, wastewater treatment, fire prevention and firefighting, internal roads, courtyards and landscaping.

The project was initially scheduled to take 360 days to complete. To ensure the school could open for the 2026-2027 academic year, the investor and contractors increased manpower, equipment and materials, and worked additional shifts. As a result, Corporation 789 under the Ministry of National Defense completed the project in 216 days, 144 days ahead of schedule.

The new school is expected to improve students’ learning and living conditions while contributing to social welfare, human resource development, and defense and security in a strategically important area of Dak Lak province.

For the 2026-2027 school year, the school enrolls 525 students, including 375 boarding students and 150 semi-boarding students. Most are ethnic minority children from poor or near-poor households, disadvantaged families or in remote areas, including those at risk of dropping out.
