Corporal Duong Tuan Vu of the unit said that despite harsh weather conditions, all newly-enlisted soldiers were determined to successfully complete the training contents.
At Squadron 401, stationed in Phu Quoc city, recruits underwent training on ship regulations, the structure, functions, and tactical use of weapons and equipment. According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Viet, Head of Squadron 401, most training sessions took place on the ship’s deck. Outdoor training in such harsh weather conditions is both a challenge and an opportunity for them to build physical strength and resilience.
