In their speeches, General Pham Van Tra and other delegates affirmed that the history of the General Staff is a thoroughly prepared work highlighting the role of the GS throughout its 80-year journey of building, fighting, achieving victories, and developing under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, and more directly and regularly, under the guidance of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.

Inheriting and promoting the glorious traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army and the heroic Vietnamese nation, the GS has obtained many profound feats-of-arms and achievements during the struggles for national liberation, as well as in the cause of national construction and protection.

Concluding the event, General Nguyen Tan Cuong spoke highly of functional agencies for their efforts in researching, compiling, and completing the draft. He required the Institute of Strategy and History of National Defense of Vietnam to acquire feedback from generals and scholars presented at the seminar, particularly supplement content of strategic significance that affirms the General Staff’s strategic role in military and defense, to ensure the completion of the "History of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (1945-2025)" on schedule and meets the quality standards.
